El pelo de una mujer puede llevarla a la gloria suprema. El pelo enmarca la cara y completa su aspecto. Un buen peinado puede hablar por sí solo. A algunas les gusta su pelo largo y liso, mientras que a otras les gusta llevar su pelo largo con muchos rizos y tirabuzones. Hay otras que buscan el minimalismo, sin alboroto y siempre llevan el pelo corto y simple, mientras las hay que desean encontrar un justo equilibrio entre la feminidad y el espíritu práctico manteniendo su pelo ni muy largo ni muy corto.
Pero aún hay más, quedan las que les gusta experimentar con el color experimentando con toques de luz. Lamentablemente, no todos los peinados son aconsejables para realzar la belleza. Algunos peinados se ven maravillosos en algunas mujeres, pero tristemente parecen champiñones desaliñados sobre otras.
Hay muchas cosas a tener en cuenta a la hora de elegir un peinado, pero lo más importante a la hora de elegir un corte de pelo o peinado es la forma de la cara. Un peinado debe adular y realzar sus mejores rasgos. Después de todo, es lo que se consigue con el pelo, estéticamente hablando - enmarcar la cara y ayudar a realzar los rasgos. Para saber si un rostro es redondo, cuadrado, ovalado...se divide la cara en horizontal y en vertical. Si el rostro es más vertical ligeramente (largo) que horizontal (ancho), entonces es ovalado.
Si es igual el horizontal que el vertical es redondo.
Si al dividirlo vemos que en la zona de abajo se queda en forma cuadrangular, es decir, no tiene ni una ligera curvatura, es cuadrada...y así sucesivamente.
Cara Ovalada.
Casi cualquier peinado te ira bien, largo o corto, liso o rizado. Es el sueño de toda mujer, ya que es el rostro más perfecto. ¿Qué se aconseja? Pues, libertad total para elegir el corte, la textura, el flequillo o la frente despejada. No hay límites. Todo te quedara muy bien, llamaras la atención si dejas algunas capas de pelo cerca de tu barbilla o pómulos. Sin embargo, hay que evitar los peinados que añaden volumen encima de la cabeza, ya que ara tu cara demasiado larga.
Cara Larga.
Si tienes una cara larga u oblonga, deberías crear la ilusión de anchura y equilibrarlo hacia fuera. Puede añadir anchura a tu cara con capas largas por los lados a la altura de la barbilla. También quedaría muy bien añadiéndole rizos y ondas que enmarcan tu cara. Si tienes una cara larga u oblonga, deberías evitar dejar tu pelo largo o demasiado corto. Tales peinados enfatizaran la longitud de tu cara que es lo que intentamos evitar.
Cara Redonda.
Si las chicas con cara larga necesitan ensancharla, las que tienen la cara redonda necesitan los contrario, "adelgazar" las facciones. Esto se logra con peinados lacios y largos, que caigan bien sobre el rostro para que parezca más angosto. Si tienes un rostro redondo y te gustaría tener un corte corto, tienes que tratar de que el pelo caiga bien pegado sobre el rostro, sin mucho volumen.
Cara Cuadrada.
El rostro tiene un mentón ancho, que hace que la cara sea cuadrada. En estos casos, no convienen los cabellos largos, sino todo lo contrario. Se busca, aquí, estilizar un poco más el perfil, con peinados bien naturales y sueltos. Puedes añadir rizos cortos, quedaran muy bien y acentuaran la equidad de la cara.
Cara con forma de corazon.
Son caras con un mentón muy cortito y angosto. Generalmente, tienen una expresión muy simpática y aniñada. Son aconsejables los flequillos que equilibran su opuesto, llamando la atencion hacia tus ojos tambien puedes marcar la raya en tu pelo con cabellos semilargos a la altura de los pomulos, que caen justo en la base del rostro para ensancharlo un poco.
Cara con forma de pera.
Se busca contraponer el peso en la parte superior de la cabeza. En este caso, con un flequillo muy largo disimula los pómulos y los estiliza. El peso del corte debe situarse siempre arriba.
Cara rectangular.
En este caso, se resalta -mucho más que en los rostros en forma de pera-, el volumen en la parte superior de la cabeza, con peinados que tengan muchísimo movimiento y que caigan sobre los pómulos con mucha evidencia para angostar el rostro y hacerlo más corto.
